Chic Eco Luxury and Greece’s newest luxury Hotel addition

Discover Greece this Summer

Rhodes’ at  newest Eco-Minded Luxury Resort

Putting Rhodes on your bucket list this summer, Gennadi Grand Resort is a brand new, eco-minded resort that opened in May for its very first season. Celebrating the longest summer of any of the Greek Islands, Rhodes enjoys warm temperatures all year round and offers vast sweeping beaches, forest-laden mountains and highly instagrammable white-stone towns.

A sun-dappled Eden along the turquoise waters of the Aegean, the new Gennadi Grand Resort welcomes epicurean luxury travellers to Rhodes, offering a beautiful symbiosis of unabashed luxury with solid eco-credentials. Operating under a BMS (building management system) to enable efficient energy management, Gennadi Grand Resort relies on a reverse osmosis (RO) plant to provide 20,000 litres of clean, sustainable water per hour using a system that requires little maintenance at low cost. Other energy saving, eco-friendly solutions include a green roof in order to minimise the sunlight reflection and improve the overall microclimate, the latest eco-focused air conditioning/heating system, recycling, litter separation system and energy saving bulbs.

Relaxation and rejuvenation is paramount in this paradise. With something for everyone, guests can enjoy sailing trips to private islands, aerial Pilates and guided hiking explorations, beachside yoga and tennis whilst younger guests can lose themselves within the inventive kids’ club. With 266 stunning rooms and suites it features generous pools, the best dining in Rhodes, an exceptional spa and inviting lounge bars; all located close to the charming and traditional village of Gennadi.

Balancing style and comfort, the resort is the latest addition to the Lindos Hotel Group portfolio. Offering private pools and patios, with equal room space both outside and in, the accommodation highlights the natural beauty of its surroundings. “We are excited to launch Gennadi Grand Resort, which is a great addition to the Lindos Hotels portfolio. Committed to quality and perfection, it will offer guests a truly unique and authentic five-star Rhodes experience, combined with a sustainability footprint.” said Kathy Minettos, Owner and Managing Director of Lindos Hotels.

Using the Mediterranean’s freshest produce from land and sea, the resort will present a gourmet portfolio inspired by centuries of Greek cooking and hospitality. From a mesmerising show kitchen, fine-dining destination restaurant and tavern specialising in Greek tapas dishes, Gennadi will open diner’s eyes to this world-renowned cuisine. The portfolio of restaurants and bars that present delectable regional specialties include the main Greek restaurant Φiloxenia, the fresh and inspiring Eδesma and the locally traditional Ouzeri.
Providing holistic rejuvenation and relaxation under the resort’s green roof, The Grand Spa will offer a wide range of Greek inspired signature rituals, facials and body treatments that focus on releasing stress and tension. With an overarching aim to balance an inner harmony complemented with some of the fitness finest facilities to be found on the island, The Grand Spa’s fitness centre will also offer guests classes with expert instructors teaching traditional yoga, aerial yoga, Pilates, aqua Pilates and aqua aerobics.

Rates at Gennadi Grand Resort start at €250 (approx. £223) per night, based on double occupancy with breakfast. Half board and ultra-all-inclusive options will also be available. For more information contact info@gennadigrandresort.com or visit https://www.gennadigrandresort.com/
